Getting this blog off the ground

It is finally time to start puttering away on the blogging scene. As a quick intro, I'll simply say this. UrbanPeacock.com, about 10 years ago, used to help get the word out about San Francisco Bay Area arts events. Kearney Street Workshop, San Francisco's haven for Asian American artists of all genres was THE place. I sort of piggy backed on their listings to help market to another demographic, the South Asian-American community which was just getting their creative voices into the mainstream. It was a humbling journey along which I was fortunate to meet many aspiring folks who were just getting their careers off the ground. I'm proud to say that UrbanPeacock played a tiny role in sharing the early days of some wonderful creative experiences.

Ten + years later, I'm finally finding the time to try it all over again, now based on the East coast. As before, this is a simple start to share news of some very cool and creative friends who are making their voices heard through their passion and creativity. Enjoy and thank you for visiting. Wishing you all great adventures in the name of creative journeys!

Experimentation & Exploration

Today I spent much of the day getting things back on track with my website. Playing around with design ideas, discovering the wonderful world of gadgets and well, let's see where this journey leads. Have a great weekend!

Urban Peacock Community - Test post

This is a test to see if this is working. Why another blog? I guess to create one blog as a space for family and friends to exchange ideas, so as to leave my first blog for UI Design issues and User Experience evaluations. This one will be more for artistic and general design topis with RISD friends and other creative souls.
